This policy applies to all services offered by First Stage, including but not limited to advisory, compliance, valuation, legal support, process automation, and business facilitation. By availing our services, clients acknowledge and accept this Refund Policy.

2. Nature of Services and Non-Refundability

Most of our services involve professional expertise, legal advisory, regulatory filings, or customised solutions. Once an engagement has commenced, resources and professional time are allocated, making the service non-refundable. Refunds will therefore not be applicable under the following conditions:

  • Work or advisory has already been initiated.
  • Documents, filings, or submissions have been prepared or lodged with authorities.
  • Any delay or rejection by government departments, regulators, or third-party platforms beyond our control.
  • Change of mind, business decision, or withdrawal by the client after engagement.

3. Limited Refund Eligibility

In rare and exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered at our sole discretion if:

  • The service has not been initiated and no professional time has been invested.
  • A technical or administrative error on our part has prevented service initiation.
  • Duplicate payment has been made for the same service.

Any such refund, if approved, will be processed after deducting applicable administrative, payment gateway, or processing charges.

4. Refund Request Procedure

  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing to our official email address along with supporting details.
  • Requests must be raised within 7 calendar days of the payment date.
  • Once the request is reviewed, we will communicate our decision within 10 working days.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable time.

5. No Guarantee of Outcome

Our services are based on professional best efforts and compliance with applicable laws. Since regulatory approvals and third-party processes are outside our control, no guarantee or warranty is provided on outcomes. Payments once made are considered towards professional effort and not contingent on external results.

6. Force Majeure & Third-Party Delays

We shall not be liable to refund any amount in case of delays or failures arising due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to regulatory delays, system outages, force majeure events, or government policy changes.

7. Modification of Policy

We reserve the right to amend or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be reflected on our website with the effective date clearly indicated.
